Every Christmas growing up my family packed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. I knew before I got married that I wanted to carry this tradition over into my own family. So now my husband and I have started this tradition. It feels so great to shop for children and imagine how happy they will be on Christmas morning when they open their shoe box.
It's amazing how much you can squeeze into a shoe box. We always make sure to include fun games and toys but also important items that they may not have like a toothbrush and toothpaste. This year we even included a set of pajamas! I encourage you to partake in this tradition with me next year! For more information click here.
What is one of your favorite Christmas traditions?!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, friend!!
We did this this year! It was so much fun shopping for someone else. Felt so good to know that someone would open and be so thankful! We got a tracking number so we can't wait to see where it ends up!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest box! I love it! I love the mini-wet brush! Whichever little girl gets that is going to think it's great... my girls love theirs! We do OCC every year too. :)
