Blush favorites

Today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite make-up essentials: blush. Spoiler alert: I didn't wear blush until the last couple of years. But now that I do, I cannot go a day without it. It completes your look. And it helps me look "awake" on the days when I am lacking sleep and running on stress aka every day.

A few years ago my sister-in-law convinced me to purchase powder from Bobbi Brown and since then, I use only Bobbi products [except mascara] because they are just downright amazing. Jill, my wallet hates you. Anyways, today I am sharing my 4 favorite Bobbi Brown blushes!

{One: Peony}
This blush is bright pink and perfect for date night or GNO. A little goes a LONG way with this one! I only use 2 light strokes, which results in hot pink fun cheeks.

{Two: Pink Sugar}
This is my "work pink". This one goes on very light so you have to use more of it to get your cheeks pink. It has a little bit of sparkle which makes it fun. This can be worn to work, run errands, or add a few extra strokes and wear it for date night!

 {Three: Coral}
This is the perfect fall/summer blush. Matches everything and looks great on tanned cheeks. I will be shying away from this one for the next couple of months but it is on repeat during warm months.

{Four: Tawny}
This is my go-to during fall/winter. The darker pink is perfect with darker tones in clothing. This is the first blush I ever got and I happily wore it every single day!

These blushes are $28 each BUT they last forever. I haven't had to replace one yet and I've had them all for at least 3 years. So worth the money!

What are your favorite blush brands and colors?!

  7. Beautiful blush choices, lady! I am rocking a Clinique blush right now and am loving it. Before that I loved Tarte's amazon clay blush, it was fabulous!

  9. I have never tried BB makeup. I feel the same about lipstick and mascara...I just look so blah without it but in the fall/winter when my summer skin color fades I would definitely agree I look washed out without blush. Great colors.

  10. I only use Nars blushes but I'm loving the colors you use - I have always wanted to try a BB blush but just never got around to it - maybe now I'll have to!

  11. Blush is my can't live without it product. I have to have it! I've been looking for a deeper color for the fall and I love Tawny. My MAC blush is $27 so $28 isn't bad especially if it lasts for a while.

  12. I started using blush on the regular a few years ago as well. Love all the colors you have - I should really get some more shades to match with the seasons!

  14. I don't wear blush yet (I tend to have RED cheeks!) but I do love me some Bobbi Brown. She even went to my high school. I love all of her products! Girl, how do you keep those nails so pretty with you and your job? I cannot even keep them up and I am not examining people all day and washing my hands half as much as you must! Props to you to be on your manicure game!

  15. I'm a huge Bobbi Brown fan but don't own any of their blushes! I'm currently in love with the Tarte blush stick (maybe that's what it's called) but I'm making note to try these when I run out!
