Wednesday: what I'm doing now!

Wednesday, June 21, 2017

I saw this post on April's blog a few weeks ago and thought I'd give it a try. I love reading these posts so I thought it would be fun to give you guys a glimpse into what I'm currently "doing" these days.

Reading
I just started reading this book so I can't tell you how it is yet but I have read a lot of good books lately that I'm hoping to recap next week. Stay tuned!

Cooking
I saw these power balls on Meg's InstaStory and wanted to try them out. I'm hooked! I've made two batches so far. They are perfect for snacks at work and relatively healthy. This is the recipe I used but I tweaked it a little bit after the first batch. I only used half a cup of peanut butter then added a small scoop of cookie butter. I didn't use coconut and used raisins for the "add ins". I found that using chocolate chips made them too sweet.

Watching
This is totally boring but all I've been watching lately are orthopedic continuing education videos. I bought 36 hours worth of videos from a recent conference that I couldn't attend because I was on maternity leave so in all my "spare time" I've been watching them! The nerd in me secretly loves them.

Drinking
You might have seen these on my InstaStory this past weekend but oh my gosh I've found a new favorite drink. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know I'm a huge prosecco lover. Well this flavored prosecco from Trader Joe's is my jam. And for only $6, sign me up! We had peach, mango, and strawberry/raspberry and I think peach is my favorite.

Buying
You guys... it used to seem ridiculous to me when people would say "I don't even like shopping for myself anymore, I would rather shop for my baby". I totally get it now. I can't remember the last time I bought myself any new clothes. Here are some things in my shopping cart that I'm just dying to pull the trigger on for baby girl.

What are you cooking/drinking/reading these days?

  9. Baby clothes are just so fun and it's such a short time in life that we get to dress them... how I justify constantly buying Hadley clothes lol!
