Four on Friday (because my week has been uneventful)

O N E

My 3rd week at my family med rotation was great! Wednesday I had the day off so instead of relaxing at home like a normal person would do, I contacted a family friend OBGYN and spent the day with her on call at the hospital. We delivered 2 babies! I cannot even explain the feeling of delivering a baby… it is nothing short of a miracle. I will never get used to that feeling. I just need to work on composing myself… tearing up isn't very professional! One mama pushed out a 9lb 6oz baby in just 3 pushes. That's what I want whenever that day comes!! Wednesday was the best day I've had in a long time. It truly reassured me that I love medicine and I am so thankful to be following my dreams.

Remember this post when I said I was swooning over these Tory Burch sandals? Well, I finally pulled the trigger. And I cannot wait to wear them every.single.day this summer.

You know what really sucks about being an adult? Having to pay $500 when the AC in your car breaks. Ugh. That's like 5 new maxi dresses or 10 mani/pedis.

  1. I feel your pain on wasting money on cars - I had a wreck a week or two ago & our deductible is $500 (thankfully it's not more lol) I hate spending money on that sort of thing! Hope you have a great weeekend!!

  4. You won’t be sorry with those Tory sandals – her sandals are my favorite and I wear them all summer long! I absolutely hate things like paying for the new AC – I always do the same thing and think what I could have really done with all that money. I just went back to check your Tuesday post – that is AWESOME what your dad is doing! He is amazing and what a good cause!

  6. I feel your pain on adult problems! I hate going to the grocery store and spending so much money on detergent, paper towels, all those household things that you need but that add up to so much money. I'd much rather have a mani/pedi or some new shoes. Have a great weekend!

  7. I felt like last week I just didn't have much to talk about on my Five on Friday either and almost did a 4 on Friday! That's so great you love delivering babies - my SIL does that and sounds like a lot of fun!
