Can't Live Without It: my jewelry holder on my night stand
So many years ago I fell in love with this small, dainty dish that my grandmother had given to my mom before she passed away. I loved the gold accents, but I loved that it was my grandma's even more. I begged my mom for it, and she finally gave in ;)
When we got married and moved into our new house I wanted to make sure my wedding rings never got lost. Solution: put them in the exact same place every time you take them off. I finally had the perfect use for my precious dish! Not only does it keep me from losing my rings and small necklaces, but it looks beautiful on my bedside table.
Love this jewelry dish but love even more that it was a family heirloom... so sweet and special!
ReplyDeletethank you!! as I get older I get more and more sentimental and love family heirlooms :)
DeleteLove your dish! I got one for Christmas and LOVE it! So nice to have your ring in a relatively safe spot every time
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful dish and so special it came from your Grandmother.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, that dish is almost like a piece of jewelry itself. It matches those chains and necklaces perfectly, and it’s more than large enough to hold a number of pieces. I know this was an heirloom, but have you found any similar dishes that are available for purchase? I would love to get something similar.
