Five on Friday!

Happy Friday! I sure hope this one passes slow!

1.

Hubs surprised me at the beach last night!

Me, mom, sis, and niece went to a delicious dinner

on the water and right when we got home the door opened

and in walked handsome hubs.

I was so surprised!

Everyone knew except me.

I wasn't expecting him here until late tonight

so to get to spend a whole extra day with him: happiness! 

2. 

It's hard to decide who is happier at the beach: me or my pup.

She runs like a maniac back and forth

jumping through the waves and chasing birds.

I literally believe she would do it until she died if we didn't stop her.

This makes for an exhausted pup at the end of the day.

And like we always say, "A tired dog is a good dog"

3.

When did my niece become a toddler?

Make it stop!

I want to bottle her up and make her stay small forever!

I never knew I could love someone so small, so much.

I can't imagine how it will be when I have kids of my own.

Blood orange champagne on the beach at sunset.

Enough said.
