Five on Friday

Am I the only one still torturing myself by watching the Bachelorette? I am totally unimpressed with this season. I was #teamkaitlyn at the beginning but now I'm so over her and if I have to hear her say "we were intimate" one more time…. I digress

Died over these two. Pretty sure they came straight from my mouth!

[T W O]

G is on a church-league softball team and I decided to take Bella to cheer on her dad this week. Bad decision. My poor girl has terrible anxiety around lots of people. We stayed for a total of 5 minutes. And missed his grand slam to win the game. Total wife fail. However, it brought back great memories of college and the millions of baseball games I attended to cheer him on.

I made homemade pimento cheese this week and it was a.ma.zing. And so easy! It is such a southern food and I could seriously live off of it! On sandwiches, crackers, veggies, anything! All you need is:

-A block of sharp cheddar cheese

-8oz cream cheese

-Small jar of pimentos

-Mayonaise

Grate your cheese, mix in the room temp cream cheese and a few spoonfuls of mayonnaise depending on how thick you like it, add the pimentos, and add salt and pepper to taste. Voila!

I convinced hubs to get a pedicure with me this week. I'm pretty sure he was so excited I asked him, because guys are "supposed" to suggest going to get a pedi but I know he loved it! It felt so great to get a little pampered. Then I grocery shopped and got gas with my awesome pedi flip-flops on. Got some major stares for this fashion trend.

I finished my 2nd week in pediatrics and really enjoyed it! The most interesting case I saw this week was a 3 year old girl who FELL IN THE GRAVE at her grandmother's funeral. Seriously. She slipped on the velvet covering and fell all the way down underneath the casket. She was bloody with cuts and bruises but no major injuries. Crazy. Poor girl! P.s. how can you not be happy at work when the walls look like this?!
